I liked being able to learn about holistic health, which is something I am very interested in, while also being able to apply things to my major. I learned a lot about starting and growing a business. This was really valuable because I hope to do this myself in the future.
What I wish was different
I wish my internship had been more structured and had more clear expectations so I knew where to focus my efforts earlier on in the summer. I also wish I got to work more closely with others, rather than working by myself most of the time.
Advice
My biggest piece of advice would be to work really hard to understand how to communicate with your boss so that you are both on the same page from the start.
