At The Park Slope Day Camp, we know that the summer camp experience is one that stays with a child long after the final swim, camp song or friendship circle. In our decades of experience, we’ve watched our campers gain confidence, build leadership skills and approach their daily lives with a newfound sense of adventure and excitement.
So, how do we do it? First, we hire and train the best camp counselors. Kindness is our guiding value, and every staff member strives to create a culture of community and respect. Next, we create activities and experiences that are challenging, inspiring and, most importantly, fun! As a “mobile” camp, we take advantage of everything Brooklyn and the surrounding areas have to offer, from Prospect Park to local beaches and ball games. Our unique model is accredited by The American Camp Association, which means we maintain the highest standards in health, programming, staff and management.
Summer day camp runs from Monday, July 1 – Friday, August 23, with one additional week of mini-camp through August 30.
