What I liked

I loved having the opportunity to teach young campers about environmental stewardship and outdoor recreation. I spent everyday outside hiking, climbing, and playing games!

What I wish was different

I wish camp was a year round experience! I had so much fun with the campers everyday and I miss how they added spontaneity into my life on a daily basis.

Advice

Be prepared to be flexible and meet campers where they're at. Some campers are comfortable navigating the outdoor recreation world, while for other campers, this is their first experience climbing hiking. Come in with an open mind and an open heart!
