I loved how community oriented the farm was as well as how the farm helped to address food insecurity in the local area. I felt as if I was making a real difference through my hard work.
What I wish was different
I wish that the interns were given more ability to exercise our expertise in our respective areas of interest.
Advice
My one piece of advice is to take the internship slow and steady. This internship demands a lot of physical hard work, and it can be easy to burn out quickly.
