What I liked
It was a good mix of field and office work, and we were given a good amount of flexibility in terms of which tasks we wanted to undertake. I learned a lot about Montgomery County's parks and began to appreciate all of the factors that go into maintaining a park.
What I wish was different
The onboarding process took a while, but that's not the fault of anyone and is typical for government jobs with a lot of paperwork.
Advice
Ask questions as soon as they come to mind to eliminate any doubts.
