What I liked

I absolutely loved working with the people and the animals. I got to experience so many things that I never knew I missed. I loved helping with the surgeries and big procedures, but I also got to spend time with the keepers taking care of the animals. I'm glad that I had this opportunity because it helped direct me to where I want to be in my career

What I wish was different

I wish that I could be helped with paperwork more. Often in the afternoons both vets would be entering paperwork and I had nothing really to do. I felt like i could've helped, but I understand the reasons why I was not allowed to.

Advice

Enjoy every day that you have with experiences like this. It will help you get through the tough days at school if you have something to look forward to!
