Working with little minds all day long and being their caregiver. Having the reward of them learning so much everyday and being a part of that. I also enjoyed the relationships I’ve built.
What I wish was different
The pay. Child care is awful with paying, for the work you do with the children. But that’s child care in general. Not because of this particular child care center.
Advice
Having patience is key. You won’t get very far if you don’t have patience and understand that children have a different learning process than adults and their brains are still developing.
