Fieldwork experience working with individuals with autism directly. Also, lots of FUN working at summer camp and a great introduction to carrying out employment at the Kinney Center for the school year.

More hours!

What I liked
I loved the amazing experience I received working with kids with various functions along the autism spectrum. I had a lead position for my camp group meaning I organized activities and looked over all kids.
What I wish was different
I cannot think of anything that would have made the experience and better.
Advice
Be prepared to act goofy and always on your toes!

What I liked
The Kinney Center creates an incredibly welcoming environment and since they are an education and support center, I always feel like I can ask questions and make changes from my mistakes since I am constantly learning. I love working with the clients I have the opportunity to have been paired with and always look forward to my time working there.

What I liked
I loved everything about this opportunity. I got the opportunity to work one-on-one with children on the Autism Spectrum. We implemented ABA procedures and helped them achieve their individual goals, while also providing a typical, fun camp experience for the kiddos
What I wish was different
Nothing! It was a really amazing summer! I recommend!!! :)
