I really enjoyed working with kids and with my coworkers, and watching the kids come home tired from all the fun that they had that day!
What I wish was different
I wish that my group was a bit bigger, because it was really fun working with a large group of kids last year.
Advice
This kind of job requires you to step outside of your comfort zone and be enthusiastic in front of kids, so I'd say that you should be brave and not be worried about being judged for being more enthusiastic. The job really helps you become more social and comfortable with asking for help and being energetic.

I like how they are flexible with my school, gives me good hours, not as stressful.
What I wish was different
The pay should be a little bit better because we do a lot of labor. Management is unorganized at times and no benefits.
Advice
I learned a lot to be confident in this job and taught me to be my own boss with responsibilities.

Summer Camp Counselor

What I liked
I loved working at this summer school/camp. The staff is incredibly helpful and they are very tight knit, so showing up to work every day is fun!
What I wish was different
The only thing I wish was different is that this job was in Chico so I could work there year round!
Advice
Participate in staff activities and as many field trips, events, and rallies as possible, that was my favorite time to make memories with the kids and staff.
