The staff are incredible and genuine, the work was difficult and rewarding, and the experience was next to none.
What I wish was different
My only "downside" for this is that there were weekly meetings with the horticulture staff where plans were made for the Garden's future events that interns weren't welcome to. It wasn't that I didn't feel like I was part of the team, it was more that I felt I was missing out on crucial communication between experts in their own field
Advice
Get your sleep, drink water and electrolytes, sunscreen is your best friend, invest in hats, and enjoy your time because you will miss it after you're done.
