I enjoyed working with formerly incarcerated folks and helping them make meaningful steps toward employment.
What I wish was different
I wish I had been able to work in person, rather than remotely. I think I would have formed closer relationships and been able to make more of my time there without the difficulty of technology.
Advice
Be flexible! Jobs are never going to be exactly what you expect, but you can learn so much from the experiences you did not realize the job would entail.
