I like that I get to meet real people and share their stories from my point of view. My favorite day was covering the Saints vs. Jaguars game, where I met multiple legendary football players being honored in the All-time Top-25 players.
What I wish was different
I wish I could have done more NFL games.
Advice
I would let other interns know that they should offer to help as many people as possible. Be persistent about what you want and what you want to do!! I was always the "yes" intern. I think people notice that.

What I liked
I liked my boss, and the excitement of working in a city with alot of events to cover.

I wish that I had more time to work on a longer project and that i had been able to cover more stories

I would recommend anyone else looking to being a newsroom be prepared for quickly approaching deadlines and writing ALOT.
