I loved the impact I had on the kids which showed in how they were at the end of camp, compared to how they were when we first met at the beginning. I also felt myself grow by how I had to be a leader to them.
What I wish was different
I wish I could have made more money, it was a lot that I was responsible for and I was good at it.
Advice
Patience is important as well as an open mind. Sometimes we forget the different backgrounds people come from. Be mindful of the things you say around people because there’s no telling what might trigger a reaction.
