I was excited to be given high responsibilities directly related to current environmental and infrastructure policy. Right from the start, I was able to express how much I wanted to take on, and I always felt like what I was doing was important.
What I wish was different
I would have loved to have been more involved with meetings with the public, companies, and the Ecology Center itself. Due to COVID, we were remote with one short meeting a week.
Advice
You make it what you want. If you want a great experience, be willing to research and learn about policy and problems you have no knowledge of.
