I enjoy being able to interact with the people that come into the restaurant and help the servers with getting things done to ease their stress.

What I liked
The people are good, it adds an experience to my life and I get to meet good people
What I wish was different
Self worth, I started out making 12$ an hour and i thought it was fine because I didn't realize what my experience was worth in the workforce. As a veteran I wish I had started at a higher wage.
Advice
Working a job in a kitchen or blue collar work in general can be a humbling experience and an enlightening one. I suggest at some point everyone do some form of manual labor if they are able.
