What I liked

How hands-on the experience was, how fun the environment was and working with the animals and all of the extra behind-the-scenes things we got to participate in.

What I wish was different

I wish there was increased animal interaction like training and enrichment, there just didn't seem to be enough time/opportunity for it.

Advice

Be prepared for all types of smells, sights, and textures. Get ready to get dirty and bring extra clothes. Take everything seriously as this is an important role, but have fun with it where possible. It isn't all fun and games but you can make it feel like it.
