It was great to experience a whole new part of the US. Getting into a huge city near NYC exposed me to many networking opportunities. Expanding my network beyond the south was important to me to find a job after graduation. Applying my courses to many job rotations in the internship was a great way to test my abilities.
What I wish was different
I wish there had been more rotation through departments as well as more management level. Instead we stayed as servers most the internship which wasn’t part of the initial offer.
Advice
Keep on management, they will keep you at a low and same level unless you speak up and stand up for yourself.
