I created bonds with all 6 kids in my class and I’ve seen major developmental improvements from them since I’ve been working there

I would not change anything.
Advice
This is the type of job the tests every ounce of patience that you have considering these kids are on the lower functioning end of the autism spectrum. They were all also highly behavioral which makes some days working with them very difficult, but it’s an experience unlike any other.
