The Alison Company had tremendous flexibility around my school schedule. It was a small office that allowed me to interact directly with a Principal and Senior Loan officer of the company.
What I wish was different
There was very little structure which made improvement and growth sporadic and difficult. There was not a consistent schedule which made planning near impossible.
Advice
It is a great starting gig for a student looking to get their feet wet in the world of commercial real estate and finance. Be prepared to have to teach yourself and be keen to learn on your own. Working while in school can be challenging as well as rewarding.
