What I liked
TexPIRG is a non-partisan advocacy organization that provides lots of research and public plea opportunities. Their sibling organization, Environment Texas, provides interns opportunities to help in both organizations and be up-to-date on what's happening with both! The community is very good, as is cross-department and cross-organization communication.
