What I liked
TDP interns have the opportunity to assist different departments in daily work and long-term projects. Interning here is a great opportunity for those looking to get an overview of the political campaign process and understand many angles of Texas electoral politics.
What I wish was different
Organization across departments is a bit confusing and disorganized.
Advice
Be willing to help with WHATEVER is needed; always have a positive attitude about your work, even if it's making volunteer confirm calls for 5 hours. Also, be on top of your personal communication methods and check emails/messages frequently!
