I loved showing the campers how to cook in a kitchen in the back country but also being able to enjoy the outdoors with the staff that worked at my camp around me. The campers that were also joining were able to ride horses and participate in day hikes around the camp site.
What I wish was different
Sometimes I wish I had a larger menu to choose from. I had a lot of meals to choose from but after 2 months of cooking the same thing and trying to rotate it as best as possible became difficult, though I never cooked all meals the same, circumstances change!
Advice
Enjoy the outdoors and soak in the fact that you are away from phones and electronics. Not having a phone really changes the way you live and makes you appreciate more of what is around you, especially from people to the views and animals that you will see.

What I liked
The coworkers became like family and the environment was always exciting. There was never a dull moment and activities were always going on.
What I wish was different
One thing that I struggled with was the distance from home. This was the first job that placed me somewhere away from my family. I would not change anything or wished anything was different.
Advice
I went into this job and place knowing absolutely no one. I stepped outside of my comfort zone and met so many amazing people. I also met several life long friends that I still keep in touch with. Never be afraid to do something you never thought was possible. This was a once in a lifetime job opportunity and helped me grow as a person.
