Learned a lot about how to identify bugs and use their presence or lack there of to determine water quality. Also, gained insight into the inner workings of government regulation.
What I wish was different
Of course, a paid internship is always better than an unpaid internship!
Advice
Spent all day in creeks and streams picking bugs up and crayfish. If you don’t like insects or being outside... this isn’t the internship for you.
