I enjoyed working with the potential clients individually! Talking on the phone with people in need felt very full-filling.
What I wish was different
The work environment felt hostile. We had "weekly department" meetings where the head attorney gave targeted criticism to the department, but rarely ever positive remarks. I felt I was in a very disorganized version of the Hunger Games where it was every unpaid intern for themselves.
Advice
Please be aware of how disorganized this place is. The only way you will learn things is if you do everything by yourself.
