Prepared me for full time career in audit. I received exposure too many different programs. I learned audit fundamentals as well as SOX control testing.

Limited amount of networking (only one internal audit intern).

What I liked
I enjoyed the learning environment. Everyone at Teleflex is extremely nice and helpful throughout the internship process. I came in with little to no knowledge of Corporate Tax and they taught me everything that I needed to know. They are also very flexible with my schedule during the semester.
What I wish was different
Nothing, the experience has been great thus far.
Advice
This is a great internship to gain professional experience in Tax for any accounting or finance major. I would recommend that any accounting/finance majors apply if they are interested in the field. During the semester I would recommend having at least 20 hours per week that you can make it into the office.

What I liked
Great introduction to the accounting and audit framework of a company. Staff was knowledgeable and willing to take the time to teach me and answer my questions. Allowed for time to meet and learn about other departments within the company that were relevant to my interests. Overall, a great experience and one I would highly recommend.

Fantastic place to start if you're looking for a first internship and a way to introduce yourself to auditing and a business environment as a whole.

What I liked
It was a very welcoming environment from the supervisors and everyone else. Everyone was eager to teach someone something.
What I wish was different
I wish the mentor ship period was longer.
Advice
Do not be close minded about a certain field just because it does not appeal to your career interests. You never know how helpful you can be if you don't venture in new interests.

Working on multiple projects and using my CAD skills to update and create drawings of machinery parts.

Seemed rushed at the end of the internship.

Take your time with projects the first couple ones you do to get it right.
