Working with the youth and getting such great training that will apply to the work environment as well as to outside jobs that I will have in the future.
What I wish was different
I wish that management would have taken into consideration the feelings/opinions of the direct care workers and what worked best for us, considering we were the ones with the youth all the time and knew them best.
Advice
I would say to anyone considering this job, it isn't for everyone. So if you're just looking for a paycheck, go elsewhere. No one stays at this job unless they truly care about the kids.
