I've loved my experience at TaxHawk so far. The team that I work with are all willing to help and explain things to me. They were also able to be flexible with my hours and my class schedule.
What I wish was different
I wish that I had more training in person and one on one. I felt like I was kind of jumping into projects without a lot of direction.
Advice
Be proactive about your learning experience in any internship. Reach out to your manager often to create a good relationship and offer to help out.

Advice
Always be open to trying new things and experiences! I never would have imagined working at a tax company, but I've been able to do something I love (write and edit) in a way that is helpful and contributes to a larger goal.
