What I liked

Small personable developer team. Used fast, modern strategies and technologies.

What I wish was different

Get a better idea of TAIT as a whole. I was very disconnected from the main internship program in PA, and missed out on weekly events, speakers, and networking experience. The developer team is completely disconnected in Boulder, but I think it would've made sense to fly me out for an amount of time.

Be patient.

Mechanical Design Intern

What I liked

A truly incredible and unique experience. Not only did I get exposure to a unique industry that merges the arts with engineering, I was treated with the same amount of respect and authority as my full-time colleagues.

What I wish was different

I wish the location wasn't so remote!

Advice

It is a high stress environment due to the nature of the industry. The project timelines are on the order of weeks, from conception to complete assembly and shipping, and that sort of environment really isn't for everyone.
