I enjoyed the culture and the talented advisors that I got to work with. I got a taste of the RIA side of the finance industry and got to see first hand the great work-life balance and success some of these advisors have. I gained administration skills and became very proficient at answering the phone. Had the opportunity to work under a very talented and intelligent CFA that many internships might not get the opportunity to have.
What I wish was different
I wish the hourly wage would have been competitive with other internships, but I feel like I was compensated fairly for my skill set at that time.
Advice
Great way to get a taste of the financial advising industry at a successful firm. Good for networking.
