I had the experience to get a head start in my field by being a teachers assistant in a special ed school. My particular class was 14 boys aged 2-5 years old.
What I wish was different
I had another job 30 minutes after so I would definitely change my hours to accommodate one job.
Advice
If you don’t have patience to deal with children it isn’t the place for you. These kids are a challenge yes but you are doing something great to leave a lsting impact on their lives.
