What I liked

I enjoyed the fact that internship allowed me to use my skills for promotional elements that were both in print and digital. It's nice to have practice preparing mockups for a supervisor.

What I wish was different

I wish I could have had more experience with web design to better improve the layout of their new website.

Advice

If you ever intern with Sunnyside Baptist Church, don't work on too many sketches, figure out what the client wants before you go to a drawing board. You can waste a lot of time trying to visualize a brand for someone that has a completely different idea. You need to ask them for specifics before you even begin sketching.
