More daily involvement with safety professionals/work practices.
Advice
If your internship is a ways from home, prepare yourself for a change of pace. Especially if it’s a large city you will be interning at. Also, be prepared to do work that has nothing to do with safety. Many times I was asked to do things that did not pertain to my job description. Just remember that you’re an intern and sometimes that’s part of the internship.
