I had total free rein to pursue my interests in policy. This internship was extremely dynamic, and was constantly changing due to what was going on in DC. I got to go to the HIll for Congressional hearings, sit with legislative aids on appropriations, go to conferences at the National Press Center, participate in a seminar about Women in Government at BGov, go to client meetings, and much more. I learned a lot about my interests and about the process of being a lobbyist on the Hill.
