The environment was amazing. My intern class was very kind along with the team I was lucky enough to work with. I was able to learn a lot about law as a Pre-Law student who had never worked in a law firm before.

What I wish was different

I wish there had been more interactions/rotations across departments to learn even more!

What I liked

The freedom we get very early on to handle confidential information, the high expertise of the work we are privy to, and the ability to work so closely with superiors of all levels. There is no shortage of opportunity here.

What I wish was different

I wish I could find a way to balance extracurricular activities and work more easily.

Advice

It’s okay not to know exactly what you want to do 5 years from now. This job is meant to be a stepping stone into the corporate world, and a glimpse into only one part of the legal field. Wherever you choose, just remember to make sure you’re happy where you are!
