I wish there was more feedback on the work I've submitted so I can see what my weaknesses and strengths are and where I can improve.
Advice
Stay on top of your emails as that's the primary form of contact.

Digital Marketing Coordinator

What I liked
As someone interested in marketing, I gained some skill on digital marketing. I learned what it was like to be a digital marketing coordinator and how that look. I really liked a lot of topics that were chosen for me to post. I enjoyed sharing my experience as a college student at the University of Illinois at Chicago. This was definitely my first internship and hope that I can continue on with the marketing skills I have now for future jobs.
What I wish was different
I wish that interns were getting paid $15 for each post we upload on to our Linkedin and Medium. And I wish we could expand our skills more in digital marketing.
Advice
If you are student that is interesting in digital marketing, get as much experience as you can to help expand your skill and network with people that completed this internship or have background in marketing.

What I liked
The application process is very simple with clear instructions on how to get started. The orientation video throughly discusses what they are expecting and how the process works.
What I wish was different
The process of getting paid was more explicitly advertised rather than a possible generalized number other notetakers have received.
Advice
The notes expected from study soup are different style and format from notes that students are used to doing. Be prepared to have to revise your notes multiple times before submitting.

What I liked
They helped provide the resources (like flyers) to recruit other students to be notetakers. It was not too much work, mostly fliering and making announcements in class.
What I wish was different
I wish I had made announcements a little earlier in the quarter, as it's always easiest to recruit when classes are just starting.
Advice
Focus your recruitment on start of classes and midterms
