What I liked
I loved the fact that you get free movies. You can even use your privileges multiple time a day! and you can bring up to 3 other friends. 50% off food is also a plus. Because it is sort of (not really) physical work, it can build or destroy bonds with your co-workers depending on your attitude. Fortunately it was the former to me. The staff is always having parties and hanging out after work, which can be pretty fun. Oh there is also advance screening for big movies for the employees.
What I wish was different
This is not a mom and pop, and because of this it suffers from a corporate environment. If you don't plan on advancing you can essentially ignore this aspects, other than that their is a lot of hope to jump through, especially if you are a server or bartender. You have to make so many tips a week or you are reprimanded, seems like a lot of stress for what is essentially a part-time job for most people. You are also constantly bugged to check into an employee website to stay up to date on what the company is up to, which could be annoying.
Advice
Fun but be prepared for low hours once your training ends. If you work nights, also be ready to get out after the last showing, which is usually around 2 in the morning. Managers can be annoying if they are ambitious, so be wary. Other than that it can be a pretty chill job.

Management was difficult and some parts of the job where extremely demanding

Just know that it is not an easy movie theater job, it's allot of work and it's hard to get hours

I simply liked that I made some money during the summer.
What I wish was different
I wish I had job hunted before the school year ended. I waited and had to get any job that was still hiring. This job did not allow me to grow or use any of my specialized skills. I wanted to get a job that would give me experience for my future career. This one did not.
Advice
Start your job hunt early. Do not settle for a job just because you need money. You will end up hating your job and feeling like you are being held back.
