I like the family-like environment that the company has, and the coworkers I have
What I wish was different
I wish I would have had more time to be able to take some summer classes and advance my degree a little. I also would have liked to be able to enjoy my summer more, which is hard to do with a 9-5 job
Advice
Getting real life work experience is just as important as attending classes and studying

Supply Chain Management Intern
May - July 2018 • Tewksbury, MA
What I liked
I discovered my interest in Operations and was able to work in many different areas and had flexible day-to-day activities due to the fact that it wasn't a formal internship program and I was the only intern. It was also really nice that there was Babson student who had just graduated and been employed who gave great perspective in the job search process and how her experience has been having come from the same place.
What I wish was different
I wish perhaps that there was more structure because there were times where there wasn't as much to do and I like to be busy at all times. Also, there were some issues with the company culture and structure that were hard to adjust to but that honestly made it an incredible learning experience.
Advice
Stay busy. It's something I've encountered at all of my internships but they don't always give you tasks for every second of every day. You need to keep yourself busy because they will notice, it makes you seem hard-working and proactive, and it makes their job easier. At the end of the day, you're not helping if they have to do more work so that you can have work to do. Stay busy and make things easier.
