Working in small teams, learning from a mentor, impacting the direction of the project

What I wish was different

The quality of the experience depends on the student mentor and other participants, which is sometimes just pure luck.

Advice

Come with an open mind and willingness to learn from your peers as well as on your own. The program is structured in such a way that you define your own experience.

What I liked

I liked that to be part of this experience, you did not need any experience. I liked that I was given the opportunity to learn so much in so little time. I liked that I now have projects to add to a portfolio. I liked how present and onhands my mentors were.

What I wish was different

Advice

It may not seem like a major opportunity at first, since it's not Google, etc., but if your mentors see that you're working hard and producing great quality work, you have the chance to be invited to special projects, which provide invaluable experiences.
