Claim specialist

October 2016 • Brookhaven, GA

What I liked

I volunteered with big brother big sister of metro Atlanta and spent time with a little girl in the Atlanta area. We went to the zoo, we went for walks and talks, ice cream and got to know one another it was a very humbling experience. I signed up for big brother big sister through the volunteer portion at my employers website. I am also a claim specialist for StateFarm weather and catastrophe department. I spent my summer working, volunteering and working on my business plan.

What I wish was different

I wish I had made a little more time for myself.

Advice

It is great to volunteer and give back because your hug, smile or words or encouragement could completely change someone’s life.
