What I liked about my summer internship at State Farm was that it was so hands-on and structured. We had a weekly schedule of hearing “A Day in the Life” stories from many different leaders in the company. This allowed the interns to see what department we were most interested in at the company. I also liked that we were each individually assigned a mentor who we met with frequently to guide us through the summer and share insightful advice. My favorite part was being able to visit corporate headquarters in Bloomington, Illinois and meet all of the other interns.

If your any sort of Computer Science major I'd suggest going for it. This internship gives you knowledge of how real work actually is. When there relax and take a breath, they know you're there to learn.
