About State Fair Community College


Attend SFCC in Boonville, Clinton, Eldon, Lake of the Ozarks, Sedalia, Warsaw, Whiteman Air Force Base in Knob Noster, and online. You don’t have to travel far to reach your career and academic goals at SFCC!


Fall 2015 enrollment was 4,934. Of this total, 2,357 were full-time students, and 2,577 were part-time; 64 percent were female, and 36 percent were male. Average age was 24.


In fall 2015 there were 393 faculty, 77 full-time and 316 part-time. Student-to-faculty ratio was 17:1.

Academics and Programs

SFCC offers Skills and Professional Certificates, Associate of Applied Science degrees and Associate of Arts, Associate of Fine Arts, Associate of Arts in Teaching, and Associate of Science in Chemistry or Engineering degrees for transferring to four-year colleges or universities. Continuing and community education programs and classes are offered by The LearningForce, and Adult Education and Literacy provides high school equivalency preparation coursework, English Language Learner classes and brush-up skills in reading, writing and math.

Online Learning

More than 2,100 students take advantage of SFCC’s 260 online classes. We even offer two degree programs completely online: an Associate of Arts degree and an Associate of Applied Science degree in Business Management. Find out more about online learning at SFCC.


Quality performing and visual arts programming is presented at SFCC throughout the year. Not only are these events tremendous learning tools for students but they also provide great cultural and entertainment value for the community! Get involved and find out more about the Arts at SFCC.

SFCC has one of the most affordable tuition rates in Missouri! About 75 percent of students who choose SFCC receive financial aid, and the average aid package for all students (scholarships, grants, loans) is $5,233.
