What I liked

This internship allowed me to be completely autonomous with my work. Although I had my mentor and other accounting staff to guide me, they allowed me to make my own mistakes before telling me what I was doing wrong. I feel that this significantly benefited my experience because I was given the opportunity to learn from my mistakes rather than being guided through the process.

What I wish was different

Overall, I would not change much about my experience. I felt that the work I was given made a significant impact on the functions of my group and allowed me to feel like a valuable member of the team.

Advice

Apply for the job, even if you don' think you would get it. I was very surprised when I was notified that I had been selected for an interview as I knew how prestigious of a company it was. Also, go into the interview with confidence. My interview turned out to be me asking more questions than they did and I feel that they really appreciated the interest that I showed.

What I liked

Amazing program, awesome team, overall top-tier firm to work for. Learned a ton and am super excited to return. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided. Compensation is industry-leading, but honestly that's a byproduct of working with the best and the brightest.

What I wish was different

I wish I had access to the second gym. But it's fine because the first gym is pretty nice too.
