Stanley Electric US

Quality Inspector

February 2022 • Battle Creek, MI

What I liked

Clean factory environment with A/C. Able to get help from coworkers if needed.

What I wish was different

Advice

It is a fast working environment on assembly, don't stress out. Most take a week before getting the pace down.

Production Engineering Intern

May - August 2019 • London, OH

What I liked

Lots of hands on experience designing, prototyping, and building machine improvements

What I wish was different

Training that pertained to the work I was doing instead of an excess of HR training that mostly didn't apply to interns. A system to prioritize the projects given to each student.

Advice

Ask lots of questions, don't be afraid to ask for more work/projects.

Manufacturing Engineering Intern

May - August 2019 • London, OH

What I liked

The PE1 Engineering team was nice.

What I wish was different

Wish there were more opportunities to expand my skills with robotics and PLC programming.

Advice

I would hire less Co-ops and have them work on important projects that the company is working towards.
