Premed Intern
June - August 2019 • Stanford, CA
What I liked
I like the connections I made with the students and the faculty members. Not only did I learn about the medical school process, but I was able to get hands-on experience working with cadavers and see a virtual dissection table -Anatomage Table. Moreover, I got to volunteer and shadowed at different hospitals, and we had hands-on experience working with the Da Vinci Robotic Machine
What I wish was different

Advice
This is my best summer so far, and I will advise students who want to pursue a career in medicine to apply for the program. Also, take advantage of the people and presenters you will be introduced to. Lastly, try to get along with the other candidates because you are going to staying with them for six weeks and try to have fun along the way.
