Stanford Pre-Collegiate Studies

About Stanford Pre-Collegiate Studies

Stanford Pre-Collegiate Studies offers a range of summer and academic-year programs for academically motivated students from around the world. Our main offerings are three-week summer residential programs on the Stanford University campus that provide students with intensive study in a single subject. Not for credit or grade, these programs provide in-depth hands-on exploration of advanced topics, development of critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, exposure to current research directions, and a challenging and rewarding academic experience in an environment with others who share a passion for learning and self discovery. Students may choose from one of many fields of study in the Summer Institutes High School programs, or if they have a specific passion, may participate in more focused programs such as the Stanford University Mathematics Camp [SUMaC], Stanford Summer Humanities Institute, Summer Arts Institute, Sports Business Academy, Stanford AI Lab Summer Outreach, or Stanford Medical Youth Science Program.
