What I liked

STAG offered a unique and valuable insight into industrial real estate. We rotated through every aspect of the company and completed asset management, acquisition, and credit projects as well as markets research projects. I loved the support and willingness to help from every employee at STAG, and the variety of work we did throughout the internship.

What I wish was different

I wish I had the chance to work in the office- but a lot of employees were still remote so I don't think it would have been very different. It was easy to get ahold of anyone for simple questions, even with being remote.

Advice

Reach out and talk to as many people as you can! I gained just as much experience talking with people and asking questions. Everyone at STAG is very willing to go out of their way to help you.

What I liked

Everyone is invested in your professional development, and is more than happy to help you understand concepts. I was given a measure of responsibility from the first week, and was actionably seeing the effects my work was having on the company’s operations.

What I wish was different

The remote experience was naturally challenging.

Advice

As long as you come with an attitude of curiosity and learning, irrespective of your previous background or knowledge of real estate you will learn so much about this field!
