I enioyed the freedom to be creative with what I taught the students. With weekly themes I could read them an engaging book and introduce an open ended craft that would allow them to be creative. I also enjoyed working with my coworkers who aided me with resources and guidance.
What I wish was different
I wish I could have had another supervisor in the room with me. The more adults that are in the room with preschoolers the more one on one interaction the students get with a teacher. This would have allowed me to collaborate with another adult and co-teach the students.
Advice
Start every day with students with a smile and a fresh start. They are only happy to be there if you are!
