I liked the opportunity to grow and be part of an organization that is community driven. I felt fortunate to work with a hard working team that do their best to assist underserved families. This experience influenced me to study International Human Rights in college, and to this day, I have a strong heart for St. Francis because they are truly making the difference and uplifting the Dutchtown community in South St. Louis.

Go out your bubble and volunteer! Find an organization that you feel strongly towards and take the step to connect with them and get involved in a new community. You may never know what it can lead you to until you give it a chance!
