I had learned a little more about the social media they were conducting.

Advice

Make yourself available for any projects or meetings. Take advantage of a lunch meeting with other employees because I learned the most from other individuals.

Purchasing Intern

What I liked

Very flexible with hours. No micro-management of my tasks. They had expectations and projects and I just did my best to fulfil their needs and it was a great mutual experience. I left with a lot of real world knowledge of the industry. Lots of in depth projects utilizing widely used software like SAP Ariba, ERP CMS, and Excel.

What I wish was different

I believe that this company underpays their interns compared to the industry average. There also was not a ton of engagement experiences among all the other interns.

Advice

Ask a lot of questions. Do not expect anyone to hold your hand. Ask for projects to be specifically assigned and create good relationships with the other employees. It’s a very relaxed environment.
