Advice
Don't be afraid to slack random people for coffee. Because you're an intern, you can do so much! Also, don't worry too much that you'll break something—there's people who will review your code.

What I liked
Great location - NYC is a fantastic place to spend a summer in. Beautiful office with dogs + free snacks. Good work-life balance. Squarespace also uses very modern web technologies, and you are exposed to many of them throughout the internship.
What I wish was different
While managers/mentors usually have the best intentions, I feel sometimes they aren't able to provide the most helpful advice because they are also relatively young in their careers.
